Dennis Emile De Snoo left us on June 4, 2025. He is survived by Coral DeSnoo, his wife and business partner of 40 years, his sisters, Joanie Prommel and Marianne Shedd, and his brother, Cornelius (Neal). Dennis was committed to the democratic process. Coming of age during the 1960s, he advocated for civil rights and an end to the Vietnam War. He began his career in political campaigns as the President of the Syracuse University Student Body in 1970 and later served as the Executive Director of the California Democratic Party under Chair and close friend Richard J. O’Neill.

Dennis was born in 1949 in northern New Jersey, was raised in North Haledon, but lived most of his adult life in Southern California. In 1982, he established a successful public affairs and campaign management company that provided services to political action committees, candidates, and businesses and conducted over 700 campaigns throughout California.

Dennis, like his parents Emile and Mary, was an avid reader, gardener, and fisherman. Family and friends remember Dennis for his quick wit, thoughtful analysis, charm, and optimism.
