Klea Lyn Walin OBITUARY

Klea Lyn Walin, 83, of Fountain Valley, CA, passed away on May 29th, 2025.

Klea was born in Lincoln, Nebraska, to Ernest and Sadie Sellmeyer on February 26, 1942. Her name came from the 1st initials of her four brothers – Keith, Lowell, Eldon, and Arlan. She went to Lincoln High School and continued her studies at the University of Nebraska. She was a member of the Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority. On April 23rd, 1962, she married Al Walin. They were married for 59 years. Shortly after marriage, they moved to Estes Park, Colorado, where she worked as the secretary at the Town Hall. In 1968, they moved to Southern California. Years later, she taught piano and was the secretary at our local church.

Klea enjoyed teaching piano, gardening, traveling, spending time with her children, and dancing with Al.

Klea was a devoted wife and mother. She was the sweetest and the kindest. Simply put, she was the best and enriched the lives of all around her.

Klea is survived by her daughter, Sue, of Ventura. She is preceded in death by her husband, Al, and her son, Andrew.

There will be a visitation on July 10th, from 5-8 pm at Dilday Chapel, 17911 Beach Blvd., Huntington Beach, CA. Graveside service will be held at Good Shepherd Cemetery on July 11th at 12 noon. There will be a Celebration of Life at the Greenbrook Clubhouse following

the service at 18222 Santa Joanana, Fountain Valley, CA.
