Two Placentia incumbents will also soon know if voters returned them to the dais.

After initial voting results were released shortly after the close of voting Tuesday, Thomas Hummer and incumbents Jeremy Yamaguchi and Ward Smith had jumped to early leads.

Looking to win that District 1 council seat were Joshua Correa, a minister, and Hummer, an educator.

Kenneth Stevenson challenged Yamaguchi for the District 3 seat and in District 5, Smith faced challenger Colson Teal.
