Lillian Ashworth

Lillian Ashworth is a 2025 summer intern covering local and political news at the Orange County Register. She is majoring in Political Science with a minor in Journalism, Ethics and Democracy at the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana, where she is heavily involved in student media. At Notre Dame, Ashworth serves as the News Director for ND Sunrise, which covers campus news and culture. She also writes for Scholastic, the oldest continuously published college magazine. Before college, Ashworth lived in Orange County, where she attended high school.
