State officials say the upcoming Laguna Hills DMV closure will pose issues 

Assemblymember Diane Dixon, along with other legislators, are calling for the California DMV to reconsider the closure

The Laguna Hills branch of the DMV, at 23535 Moulton Parkway, will close permanently on Oct. 11. Customers will have to use DMV branches in San Clemente, Costa Mesa or Santa Ana for in-person visits.
