Julian Smilowitz, former Fullerton football coach, passes away
Julian Smilowitz, who was the Fullerton High football coach for nine seasons, died June 13. He was 72.
The cause of death has not been publicized.
Smilowitz was Fullerton’s head coach from 2004 to 2012.
He is survived by his wife Diane and three daughters.
He was a three-sport standout at Neff High in La Mirada and played football at Brigham Young University.
A visitation will be held June 26 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at McAulay & Wallace Mortuary in Fullerton.
A funeral service is June 27 at 10 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 15100 Cordova Road in La Mirada.
