Rain and lightning forced three local games in the CIF Southern California Regional baseball playoffs to be suspended Tuesday.
The three first-round games will resume Wednesday, June 4.
Santa Margarita’s Division I home game against San Diego Patrick Henry will resume at noon. The game will restart with the game in the bottom of the fourth inning and Patrick Henry leading 2-0.
Fountain Valley’s Division II home game against Rancho Bernardo resumes at 3:15 p.m. in the second inning with Fountain Valley leading 2-1.
Estancia’s home game against Mary Star in Division IV resumes at 3:45 p.m. with one out in the top of the second inning. Estancia has a 1-0 lead.
Second round games are scheduled for Thursday. SoCal Regional championship games are Saturday. All games are scheduled for 4 p.m. at host team sites.
